A Surprise in Cartagena Bay
He planned everything in secret. They were coming from Mexico on vacation, and Cartagena was the perfect setting to make that trip an unforgettable memory. The idea: a marriage proposal on a boat, right at sunset, in the middle of the bay.
She didn't suspect a thing. She thought it was just a romantic boat ride. But as the sun set and the colonial city lit up in the background, the flowers, the ring, and the champagne spoke volumes.
Her reaction was one you'll never forget. She opened her eyes as if time had stopped, and seconds later, tears confirmed it: the surprise was perfect. She was overwhelmed with emotion. And yes, she said yes.
Then came the toast, the celebration, the music, the complicity. It felt like a private party floating over the sea. And I, as a photographer, can only say that it was one of those moments when you feel love is real and the images speak for themselves.

Ella no sospechaba nada. Pensaba que era solo un paseo romántico en bote. Pero mientras el sol caía y la ciudad colonial se iluminaba al fondo, las flores, el anillo y la champaña dijeron lo contrario.
Su reacción fue de esas que no se olvidan. Abrió los ojos como si el tiempo se hubiera detenido y, segundos después, las lágrimas lo confirmaron: la sorpresa fue perfecta. La emoción la desbordó. Y sí, dijo que sí.
Luego vino el brindis, la celebración, la música, la complicidad. Parecía una fiesta privada flotando sobre el mar. Y yo, como fotógrafo, solo puedo decir que fue uno de esos momentos en que se siente que el amor es real y que las imágenes hablan solas
